No, this is not a post with some pretty girl with nice clothes on, nor is it a picture of a cat. This is a serious post. For over 26 years Kony has kidnapped young children, has had the boys murder their own parents, turned the girls into sex slaves, and used peace talks to gain more power for himself. throughout all of this, the United States has done nothing to help. Us, the youth, need to show everyone how powerful we can be. We use up our time on the internet for facebooking, tweeting, and reblogging. Now we can use that time to help someone who is helpless. To show the world, that yes we may be young, yes we may not have thousands of dollars, nor do we own a million dollar company, but we can make a change in this world. One click at a time. Invisible Children is an organization dedicated to putting a stop to Kony and his tactics. Our voices are not the loudest, but with enough help we can get them to be heard. Putting a stop to one of the world’s largest criminals can happen, with the right kind of help. Our help, reblogging, texting, tweeting, any of those, they can help putting Kony down for good.
